Radio & Podcasting
During my studies at the University of Lausanne I took part in extra activities, most notably radio program and podcast activities, including journalism and animation. The first experience of this kind was at a program called CultuRadio, in collaboration with the Festival Les Urbaines:
Later I was also active in the official radio for the students called Fréquence Banane for a longer time, continuing on practicing covering the news as well as deeper topics every week.
Such experiences have been important steps in the audiovisual sector, as I was learning how to interview guests, run a live show, animate, write in a vocal and interesting manner, and most of all perform.
Here is an example of the live show Café Kawa we organized at Fréquence Banane with an additional stream on Facebook:
Another podcasting activity I have done was form the newspaper Le Temps – for whom I later did some more blogging work – in 2014 where we interviewed people in Scotland about the upcoming vote on independence from the United Kingdom. An article was published integrating the interviews and summarizing the answers.
