In 2015, I worked as a Location Manager for the short film “The Birth of Venus” written and directed by Aidan Buchi and Melano Sokhadze with the famous Director of Photography Burak Oguz Saguner.
SYNOPSIS: Grieving her daughter, an artist seeks to break free from patriarch.
This experience has been particularly difficult because of the extreme conditions. The role required to work 14 hours per day with 4-5 hours of sleep per night during 2 weeks. My position as location manager implied to be the first present on the set and the last to live, organizing all the logistics, transports, food, accommodation, and other production practicalities that ensure that the movie can be made from the ground up.
